Ben, Tara, & Baby Jacob – Family Session – Huntsville, AL Photographer

I just got back home from visiting my family in Virginia. I got to do so many things and see so many people. It was such a good trip! The first thing I got to do was visit my sister, Tara, and her husband, Ben, and I got to meet their new baby/my nephew, Jacob! I was on cloud nine! Because he was born on September 10th, smack dab in the middle of busy wedding season, it was a month before I could come visit him — it drove me crazy! Until that day, I survived off of photo texts from Tara and Facebook to see his cuteness. He was cute enough in photos, but in person? Oh my goodness! I couldn’t stop giggling because of his cuteness. I am one proud Aunt, that’s for sure!

While I was visiting, I got to do a quickie shoot for the three of them. I had so much fun with this! I wanted to really show their new family – meaning, although I was tempted to just zoom in on Jacob the whole time because I couldn’t get enough of his cuteness, I really wanted to showcase the love between his dad and mom, Ben and Tara, too. I wanted to celebrate their new family.

I ended up doing 5 photoshoots in all during my 9 day visit with my family in Virginia. It was busy week to say the least! Keep an eye out for more previews and blogs of all the rest of the Virginia shoots — including some photos of my 5 day old niece, Heidi, born to my other sister this past Thursday! I am so thankful that I got to meet her before I had to head back home on Saturday. I cannot wait to share the photos with you!
