Chelsie – Bridal Session

So, I went ahead and blogged this session a few weeks ago — April 23rd, to be exact. But this was a pre-wedding bridal session, so I couldn’t share it with you until after the wedding, which is today, May 18th! Woohoo! It’s been driving me crazy not being able to share these photos until now because I am in love with these shots! I am SO happy to finally be able to share them with you! I have scheduled this blog to post as soon as Chelsie and Kenneth’s ceremony starts at 6pm. I love that I can schedule bridal sessions like that :)

For Chelsie’s bridal session, she chose a walking trail out in Madison — a GORGEOUS walking trail, I might add!  I think this location was the perfect choice for her because she is a runner. And I don’t think we could have chosen a more beautiful day either! The sun was shining, the breeze was perfect. It was incredible! Chelsie was a super easy person to photograph too! She looked stunning in every photo — it was hard to narrow them down during the blogging process! I loved this bridal session so very much! I hope you do too!

I love this shot. I love this dress.

Gorgeous.

I was pretty psyched when Chelsie showed up with balloons.  Bridal Session + Balloons = One Happy Photographer!

The sun was yummy that day!!

One of my favorites.

This girl is a runner, so we had to get some running shots!  One of Chelsie’s fabulous bridesmaids came along to help us out :)

Suzi

What a fun bride! And beautiful!! Great job Erin :)

Cheryl – Bridal Session

Beautiful Cheryl. I love this bridal session. Cheryl’s vintage style, tea-length wedding dress, which was made by her mother, and her fabulous birdcage veil, also made by her mother, combined with her beautiful eyes, flawless complexion, and incredible red hair made me a very happy photographer. It was wonderful! All the colors and the style — I love it! Cheryl looked absolutely stunning. I am so pleased with how the photos turned out! If it weren’t so late tonight, I may have just blogged every single photo. But alas! It is late and I am about to fall asleep right here at my desk, so I had to narrow it down to my top 10ish photos. Enjoy! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

This next one may be my new favorite photo ever. LOVE!!!

Ross & Mindy – Wedding in Huntsville, AL

Ross and Mindy have one of the coolest stories I’ve ever heard from one of my couples. It would take too long to type it all out and even if I did, I’m sure I would probably leave key details out and/or get parts of the story wrong. But, in a nutshell, Ross has been serving in the military overseas for most of their short relationship. If I remember correctly, they only spent a few short weeks with each other altogether before he proposed. Their relationship blossomed over video chats. Ross came to the states for a brief period of time at the start of this year. During that time, Ross and Mindy got engaged, then Ross had to head back overseas. Ross arrived back into the states just days before their Easter Sunday wedding. Talk about a whirlwind!

Now, that was the super brief, nutshell version of their story, but still. I just love their story! It just shows that even if you have only been together a “short” period of time, when you know, you know. It kind of reminds me of mine and Will’s story. We had only known each other for about 4 months before both me and Will “knew”. So, I guess I’m sucker for stories like Ross and Mindy’s :)

Ross and Mindy got married at the gorgeous Lake Forest in Huntsville on Easter Sunday. We were blessed with gorgeous weather that day, too. I had fun at this wedding because not only were Ross, Mindy, and their friends and family absolutely wonderful to work with, but I also got to see my old roommate, who is a friend of Mindy’s and a guest at their wedding. It’s always so fun to see people I know at weddings we photograph :)

Right after Ross and Mindy got back from their honeymoon, they officially moved to Germany to begin their married life together. I know that their families and friends must miss them so very much. I hope that seeing these photos brings them joy because I know that it must be hard to not have Ross and Mindy here with them. And I hope you, the readers, love their photos as much as I do. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

I love the yellow boutonniere!

One of my favorite shots…. just moments after Ross and Mindy first saw each other.

Another one of my favorites.

Love these!!

I am in love with the back of Mindy’s dress! Stunning!

Mindy had her bridal session done a few weeks before the wedding. Click HERE to see her gorgeous bridal portraits!

This is one of my favorite ring shots to date! I just love the colors and the pattern…and, of course, the ring!

I love the joy and excitement on Mindy’s face!

Mindy and Ross got their moms a gift before they headed off to Germany — United States Army cups. They loved them!

“Thanks to all our Peeps” :)
